If you didn't read the title of this topic, the campaign I propose to you all is a Spy Campaign! Having found it in a book of Microlite20 RPGs which you can find at this link:www.mediafire.com/?zzj1yjn2wy2#1, I thought it would be a welcome change of pace.
Things to note for this Campaign:
- It utilizes the M20 Modern Rules to a slight Extent (Action Points WILL play a role)
- Currency and Equipment (codenamed Gear), are simplified to their base components for the sake of ease of use. All Level 1 agents will start with 6 Gear Points (5+Your Level)
- There exist two additional stats in character creation, With Charisma as a Stat, and Science as a Skill
- A Fallout-esque talent system is in play when creating a character. All characters get one Talent Point to spend.
The Classes are as Follows. For reference, we'll use the A-Team's lineup:
Soldiers - Your basic tough guy. Think B.A. Baracus They get +1 to All Attack and Damage Rolls, with an additional point for every 5 Levels
Spies - The Sneaky, Snarky, and Quick on their feet agents. Think Murdock. They get a natural bonus to subterfuge, alongside their preferred skill.
Faces - The Good-looking, Mind Boggling front man. These agents have a natural +2 to their charisma stat, with the same bonus as Soldiers gain. Think (who else) Face.
Thinkers - The men who stay in the lab and mix chemicals, CSIs, Hackers, the Tinkers, and the Makers of Plans. Like Faces, they get a +2, but to their Intelligence Stat rather than Charisma.
And that's pretty much all you need to know. For more, just ask me on skype, or refer to the link above and go to page 384.
Last Order of Business, as this a team based game, we'll be working for (or Forming) an Agency. When a DM Makes one, they choose 3 Qualities (Aspects about our Agency). As a DM myself, I've already got one idea for our agency planned:
We are Secret, which hides us from the Public Eye, and thus makes our enemies have to work to track us and our Agents down (Giving a little extra difficulty in checks), also gaining a natural bonus to all disguises we wear. (+5, to be exact).
We have a Mondo Headquarters, which means our HQ is something quite out of the way. I'll leave it to responses to figure out what it will be, but it must be unique, and have a means to reach it.
Best of All, we have an on-site R&D Department, which means we get our first equipment upgrades for FREE! This includes the more complex items, and any vehicles we have.
All we need is a description of our Top-Secret Base, a Name for our Agency, and a name for our Campaign. Make it fit the Spy Theme!
This is Adam the Hedgehog, and I hope to see you Agents do well.
